I envision this as an ever changing and growing space to house many plateaus of thought. Where text and location is malleable, plateaus can be added and subtracted.
I’ve distilled two common symbols: the labyrinth and asterisk for this draft or ‘rehearsal’.
The Labyrinth, a metaphor for the mind, a trip through oneself, acts as the text's body. An asterisk is a symbol that serves to call attention to a footnote, expand on a little moment in greater detail. The Asterisk plays the role of residue, to mark a moment in space. Each time the labyrinth is reengaged with more marks of residue will appear. Each point of residue can be expanded upon. shouts in the void. forgoing a standard web template with easy navigation to the home page, etc. having to rely on the back arrow to navigate in correlation to how one would navigate a labyrinth, turning back when at a dead end.
The goal is to write some of these plateaus as choice based text narratives centering around choices that would keep one up, like deciding the fate of rival food truck vendors for your office. In homage to point and click games what is click-able will be expanded, hidden easter eggs.
